Judas, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, is someone I spend quite a bit of time thinking about.

I find myself wondering how someone who literally walked with Jesus and talked with Him, shared meals with Him and witnessed His miracles could betray Him. How could he remain unchanged by Jesus?

I find myself envious of the access Judas had to the Son of God. An intimate, personal relationship. Someone who knew what Jesus’ favorite meal was, the places He liked to visit and the sound of His voice. How could He remain unchanged by Jesus?

I find myself wondering how many sermons Judas must have heard. How many times did He hear Jesus speak of His Father’s love? How many times did He see Jesus extend that same love to those around Him? How could he remain unchanged by Jesus?

I find myself wondering how Judas could have allowed Jesus to wash his feet? How could he have walked away from that intimate moment with Jesus and enter into the presence of Satan himself? How could he remain unchanged by Jesus?

I find myself wondering how Judas could have led Roman Soldiers to the garden where he knew Jesus would be praying. How could he have stood before the Savior of the world with an army behind him. Jesus on one side, Judas on the other. How could he have kissed the cheek of the One who would lay down His life for Judas? How could he remain unchanged by Jesus?

And then I think about myself. And I think about how I sometimes stand with my fist raised in rebellion.

How sometimes I choose my way instead of His way. How sometimes I tell Him not to mess with parts of my life that I want to control. How sometimes I choose to leave His presence and allow my eyes to wander to the things of the world. How sometimes I put my faith in people around me instead of the God before me. How sometimes I seek selfish ambition instead of the glory of God. How sometimes I refuse His best and settle for less. How sometimes I make much of me and less of Him. How sometimes I trade Him for temporary pleasures. How sometimes I serve my own flesh and not a holy God. How sometimes I let my eyes wander from the old rugged cross to a shiny materialistic world. How sometimes I spend time with Him and remain unchanged by Him.

How sometimes I am Judas.

But He loves me anyway. What kind of love is that? It’s a reckless, redemptive, restorative, rescuing, relentless love. It’s a love that is heavy on grace and overflowing with mercy. It’s a love that holds no record of wrongs. It’s a love that is patient and kind. It’s a love that knows no beginning and no end. It’s a love that surpasses all understanding. It’s a love that lays down its own life to rescue another. It’s a love that leaves 99 faithful to seek out 1 who is lost. It’s a love that pierces the heart and changes the mind.

And I must be changed by Him. I am responsible for letting Him in to the deepest, darkest, and most unholy places in my heart. I have to lay out my mess and let Him clean it up. I have to relinquish control of the things I hold tightly to. I have to follow His plan and not my own.

Judas was doing all of the right things on the outside but He didn’t allow Jesus to penetrate the inside.

And that, my friend, is what scares me the most. That we would walk around with the appearance of following Jesus without ever being changed by Him.

I have heard this question a thousand times in my life. I could ask the same about women. But I am going to focus on the men. Maybe just maybe a few will understand.

You the good men give everything and in time learned to ask for nothing. I am going to talk about my life and what I have been through in my life.

I was born in 1954. To two drinks. They would stay drunk most of the time. Neither one of them would work and if they did get a job it did not last long because they could not stay sober. So I had to learn to take care of myself and my younger sister. So you see I have took care of myself all my life.

No I am not the only one that has lived this way. As I grew up I was used and abused until I reached the age of 14 when I left home. Thing is I stayed in the same town where they lived and needless to say they never came looking for me. At least until I went into the army. I guess they thought they could get something out of it.

After I got out of the army I guess I thought things would be different when I got married. I done everything I could to make sure that I was better than the ones I had to grow up with. I worked hard and done everything I could to take care of my family. In short I gave everything. But it did not work out she left and took everything.

After we go through years and years of being used and took advantage of we finally give up because we finally learn that no matter how hard we try and no matter how much we give nothing is going to change.

Are we perfect? No we are not. We make mistakes just like everyone else. But we don’t give up. When we fall we get up and keep going. And yes I know there are women that have gone through the same thing. The thing is some women learn to be like others and we have less good women and yes some men do the same thing.

So where does it stop? When you ask that question take a good look in the mirror and see yourself as the world sees you. Am I going to change who and what I am? No I know what I am. I am one that gives all and ask for nothing. If I have to beg then I feel like I am not worth anything to her.

As of now I am to old the try any more so I guess you could say I have given up. Lol but it took 68 years to get here.

So before you ask the question think about what you are giving and how much you are taking in the relationship. It is always a two way street. The world does not revolve around me or you. If you are not willing to give then why should you expect to receive anything from him or her.

  As was announced several days ago, on 13th September, the second Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, with me having the privilege to be the Head of its Secretariat, was scheduled for the next summer of 2023. An Organizing Committee headed by Yuri Ushakov, aide of the President of the Russian Federation, was established to therefore prepare.

This Summit is designed to give a new impetus to the African-Russian political, trade and economic, investment, scientific and technical as well as humanitarian co-operation and thus, turn it even more integrated and comprehensive in nature.

Though a careful analysis of the information from other international actors within the framework of preparations for the Forum forces us to state openly that there are forces in the world that stand against such a full-fledged and mutually beneficial cooperation of African States with Russia, and what is remarkable, those actors themselves are not Africans.

Tuesday- Eurozone total melt down. Bank deposits are bailed and most people will lose all their money. Social protests erupt. U.S. stock market will drop another 20% before being halted for the day again. Hedge funds will collapse and banks are stuck with meme stock shorts which will be revealed to be in the trillions. Banks fail critical margin levels and the DTCC will be forced to cover the shorts. DTCC insurance policy will fail as the insurers never had money to begin with and the Federal Reserve is stuck with the bag.

Wednesday- Stock market will drop another 20% before getting stopped. Subprime finally hits and housing prices crash by 50% and more. Meme stock, silver, gold, commodity trading is frozen and halted but this will only make the problem worse. Dollar insolvency is all over international news, while silver and gold skyrocket. Thursday- U.S. government will begin to collapse and pressure on the current Admin to resign. Stock market will drop even more for a total of 85-96% since the crash on Monday. Grocery stores will now be empty as supply chains completely break down. Rumours of a coup against the U.S. government will begin to pick up on social media and gain public approval. Massive protests against the government, wallstreet, and the banks will erupt. Police will be deployed and attempt to brutally suppress the protests but they will be unsuccessful.

So if the US designates Russia a state sponsor of terrorism, other nations will follow,” the Ukrainian leader told a gathering hosted by the Clinton Foundation on Tuesday.
Kiev has been calling for such a designation for Russia for weeks, while the White House has said that it would be counterproductive and won’t affect Washington’s anti-Russian policies.

Prosecutors in Munich and Frankfurt are reportedly investigating Alisher Usmanov for sanctions violations German authorities are carrying out nationwide raids of properties allegedly linked to businessman Alisher Usmanov, as part of a probe against the sanctioned Russian billionaire.
Two dozen sites in Bavaria, Baden-Wurttemberg, Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg belonging to a Russian citizen who is on the sanctions list are being searched, according to a statement released by Munich prosecutors on Wednesday.
While the statement discloses no names, Bloomberg reports that the target is Usmanov, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter. According to the statement, Usmanov is being investigated for sanctions violation because he allegedly kept and paid security staff to look after a luxury compound in Bavaria. In March, German authorities seized Usmanov’s superyacht Dilbar, one of the world’s largest and most expensive private sailboats, after determining it was legally owned by his sister, Gulbakhor Ismailova, targeted by Western sanctions over Ukraine. In April, the businessman appealed the sanctions at the EU General Court.
The Uzbek-born businessman holds a major stake in USM, a Russian investment group with holdings in Metalloinvest, one of the world’s largest iron ore producers, and telecommunications company MegaFon. Usmanov’s net worth totals $14.6 billion, according to Forbes. Earlier this year, the 69-year-old was added to the UK, EU and US sanction lists.

Washington failed to issue documents to a number of delegation members, Russia’s Foreign Ministry says The United States did not grant visas to several members of the Russian delegation, preventing the officials from taking part in the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday.
Speaking to Sputnik, she noted that two of ten diplomats comprising “the official delegation” had not received the necessary stamp.
Zakharova explained that Russia’s overall delegation consists of several groups. The first one, she said, is referred to as “the official delegation.” This group is headed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and has been formed with the approval of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Out of ten members of the official delegation, two did not receive visas. This tactic has already become an ominous tradition on the part of the US, but the point stands,” Zakharova stated, also offering a reminder that Moscow has already voiced concerns on this matter. The 77th session of the UN General Assembly opened on September 13. However, the main event of this session is supposed to be the ‘High-Level week’ from September 20 to 26, which will be attended by many world leaders and foreign ministers.
Moscow has repeatedly accused Washington of violating its obligations under the 1947 agreement on the hosting of the UN headquarters in New York City, which requires the US to grant access to foreign representatives without charge and “as promptly as possible.”
Following Moscow’s and the UN’s calls to issue visas to members of the Russian delegation, the US allowed entry to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and a number of high-level diplomats, enabling them to attend the assembly.
